Wilkin County Jail Roster Overview
Wilkin County's public in-custody roster is available at co.wilkin.mn.us/jail. The roster is titled LETG Jail and displays an "In Custody" timestamp; during research it showed "In Custody 06-23-2026." It is a current local custody report for the Wilkin County Jail, not a historical booking archive.
The jail is operated from the Wilkin County Law Enforcement Center at 515 Dacotah Ave in Breckenridge. It is a 21-bed, 17,000-square-foot facility completed in August 2006, licensed by the Minnesota Department of Corrections, and used for minimum, medium, and maximum male and female inmates. It also houses for surrounding counties under agreements with Ransom County and Richland County in North Dakota.
Because the roster is custody-focused, it should be read together with court and criminal-history systems. The roster can show a current charge line, but MCRO shows the court case after filing, BCA CHS shows statewide public criminal-history information, and the Minnesota DOC public viewer covers adults committed to DOC custody who remain under DOC jurisdiction.
The official jail facility page explains the local facility and staffing structure.
Use the separate in-custody roster when the immediate question is whether someone is currently booked in the Wilkin jail.
How to Use the Wilkin County Inmate Roster
The Wilkin roster is a public report, not a search form with multiple filters. Open the roster and review the visible custody rows. If a person is not listed, that may mean the person is not currently in Wilkin custody, has not yet been entered, has been released, or is in another county, state DOC custody, federal custody, or a non-Wilkin facility.
- Open the Wilkin County in-custody roster.
- Check the roster timestamp so the age of the custody report is clear.
- Review name, sex, age, booking number, intake date, charges, and bail/bond fields.
- Use the court case number shown in a charge line to search MCRO when the court file is public.
- Call the jail at 218-643-1205 for current custody questions that the roster does not answer.
The in-custody roster screenshot captured for this project shows the public table layout.
Because the roster is current-custody focused, older charges and final case outcomes should be checked in court records.
Roster Search Fields
The roster does not document a traditional name-search form in the research. The useful public fields are the columns visible in the custody report.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Photo | Image / column | n/a | Photo column appears if available. |
| Name | Text | n/a | Inmate full name as listed by the jail report. |
| Booking # | Number | n/a | Booking identifier tied to the current intake. |
| Charges | Text block | n/a | Severity, bond/status, statute, case number, and offense description. |
What an Inmate Profile Shows
The visible roster fields are enough to connect custody to a court or warrant record, but they do not replace the court file. The research inventory found no full date of birth, address, physical description, housing pod, medical information, attorney name, or release plan in the public roster.
The roster charge pattern observed in the research included severity/status/statute lines, charge descriptions, and money fields such as amount, conditional amount, bail received, and bond received. That layout is useful for matching a custody record to a Wilkin court file, especially when a case number appears inside the charge block.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Booking Number | The current booking identifier assigned by the jail. |
| Intake Date | The booking or intake date and time. |
| Charges | Severity, status, statute, court case number, and charge description where visible. |
| Bail / Bond | Amount, conditional amount, bail received, and bond received fields where applicable. |
| MNI | Master name index / local identifier. |
| Not shown publicly | Full DOB, address, housing pod, medical flags, attorney, or projected release plan. |
Wilkin County Jail Facilities
The research identified one Wilkin County jail facility for this page: the Wilkin County Jail / Correctional Facility at the Law Enforcement Center. The same address also houses sheriff functions.

Booking Process in Wilkin County
After an arrest, the jail roster may show booking number, intake date, charges, statute lines, case numbers, and bail/bond fields. The court record is separate. A charge line on the jail roster can point to a District Court case number, but the full court file adds hearings, pleas, disposition, sentencing, fines, restitution, and probation conditions.
For first appearance or bond questions, check the court case through MCRO and call Court Administration when the roster is not enough. If the person is no longer in the Wilkin jail, use the Minnesota DOC public viewer for state custody and VINELink Minnesota for custody-notification searches where available.

How to Contact an Inmate
Use Reliance Telephone for phone and video visitation services. The county's process says to search for "Wilkin County Jail," log in or create an account, choose the jail, agree to the terms, search by inmate last name, select the inmate, choose a time, enter driver's license or photo ID information, and confirm the visit. The inmate voicemail line listed by the county is 218-517-5060.
The official inmate phone and visitation page is the county source for Reliance instructions.
Reliance support issues should go to Reliance rather than to jail staff, according to the county page.
Commissary and Inmate Funds
The official county pages reviewed did not publish detailed commissary vendor, money-deposit kiosk, tablet program, phone pricing, or video pricing information. Do not assume Securus, GTL, JPay, or Access Corrections for Wilkin. Call the jail at 218-643-1205 or Reliance at 1-800-896-3201 for current instructions.
Wilkin County Jail program information is separate from inmate lookup. The county lists Sentence to Service / Community Service, Work Release / Huber, and I.G.N.I.T.E. as jail programs. STSCS can let sentenced inmates work off pay-to-stay fines and community-service hours, Work Release / Huber requires release privileges to be arranged ahead of time, and I.G.N.I.T.E. focuses on education, employment, and life skills. Program eligibility is not shown in the public roster.
For state custody beyond the Wilkin jail, use the Minnesota DOC public viewer. For custody notification, use VINELink Minnesota, noting that Minnesota DOC notifications route through Minnesota Haven rather than VINE for DOC facilities.
DOC records are for adults committed to the Commissioner of Corrections and still under DOC jurisdiction; newly sentenced people may take several business days to appear.
